Dec. 11, 2014 – LOS ANGELES, Calif. — (LOS ANGELES, CA) December 2014 – Millennia Scope Entertainment Foundation (MSEF) will host its 1st Annual “Millennia Scope Gala” on Sunday, February 22, 2015, at Los Globos in Los Angeles, California.
The first of its kind for the LGBT entertainment community, the Gala will take place on the same nightafter the biggest night in Hollywood, the Academy Awards. During this unprecedented event, Millennia Scope will honor the contributions of significant players whose creative work raises awareness and rewrites a modern image of the LGBT community in the world of entertainment and well beyond. Guests slated for the occasion are the best, brightest and emerging LGBT talent in media and entertainment.

They affect us all shape who we are collectively as a culture and help define our personal values,” says Millennia Scope Entertainment Foundation CEO and Founder, Shahid Manning. “With so many in people in entertainment working hard to create amazing, innovative, and new stories daily and to get LGBT film property to the mainstream media market, it is time to celebrate those contributions.”
Launched in 2009, Millennia Scope Entertainment Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organizationwhose mission is to champion the cause of independent filmmakers of LGBT visual media. Millennia Scope is dedicated to fostering the careers of a community of artists traditionally underserved and underrepresented in mainstream media, who embody diversity, innovation, uniqueness of vision, and the next generation of talented filmmakers.
